Comprehensive Plan


Students will plan, prepare and apply for college with the advantages of expert guidance, timely information, and private sessions; learn to explore college options as they relate to their personal aspirations; and make better college choices with less stress during the college admissions process.


Students will also learn how to advocate for themselves as they articulate their preferences, strengths and goals; differentiate themselves from their peers; & use resources to their advantage.


Guidance will be individualized based on student and family needs, and may include some or all of the following:


  • Curriculum selection
  • Extracurriculars, leadership opportunities and summer planning 
  • Best individual approach to standardized college admission testing
  • College visits
  • College lists
  • Career interests
  • How to use social media to student's advantage
  • ZeeMee (digital videos to supplement applications)
  • Recommendations
  • Resumes
  • Financial Aid: the FAFSA & the CSS Profile, how institutional aid works, and how to find schools that offer more generous award packages
  • The Common Application, Coalition Application, University of California and Apply Texas Applications
  • Essay guidance (brainstorming, topic selection, development, review, editing, proofreading)
  • Interview preparation
  • Early Action & Early Decision considerations
  • Evaluating acceptance choices and planning strategies for any wait list decisions
